Frequently asked questions

How much bitcoin is in one share of IBIT?

As of Oct 23, 2026, one IBIT share held 0.00056514 BTC (about 56,514 sats), based on BlackRock’s daily holdings file. That means roughly 1,769 IBIT shares equal one bitcoin.

How many shares of IBIT equal 1 bitcoin?

About 1,769 shares, as of Oct 23, 2026. The number creeps up over time because the 0.25% fee is paid out of the fund’s bitcoin.

How much ether is in one share of ETHA?

As of Oct 23, 2026, one ETHA share held 0.02262584 ETH. ETHA did a 1-for-3 reverse split on Oct 6, 2026, so older figures you find online are about a third of this.

Which bitcoin ETF has the lowest fee?

MSBT (Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust) at 0.14% a year. Grayscale’s GBTC is the most expensive at 1.50%. For ether, MSSE is lowest at 0.14% and ETHE is highest at 2.50%.

Why does the bitcoin per share go down over time?

Spot crypto ETFs pay their yearly fee by selling a little of the coin they hold. So each share slowly holds less coin. A 0.25% fee shrinks the coin per share by about 0.25% a year. Funds that stake can add coins and offset some of that.

Is the ETF share price the same as the value of its coins?

Close, but not exactly. The coin value per share is about the fund’s net asset value (NAV). The market price you pay can be a little above or below NAV during the day.

How often is this data updated?

Each fund’s figure shows its own as-of date (latest here: Oct 23, 2026). Issuers publish once per trading day. Coin prices on this page are live from Coinbase, with CoinGecko as a backup.
